Neat and Tangled My Favorite Nut Valentines Card



Hi Everyone! Popping in today with a quick post to show you this card I made while playing with the Neat & Tangled My Favorite Nut stamp set. I was inspired by the color challenge over at Sunday Stamps, and put together a very clean / kinda simple card. 

My background was a combination of distress oxide ink blending around the edges with some nuvo glimmer paste over top a wood grain stencil to fill in the background (left over ink on my uncleaned stencil ended up creating a kinda cool wood colored effect.. )

My image was stamped on watercolor paper and watercolored using some distress inks that matched the color challenge. I cut my image out with my brother scan n cut but you could also use the coordinating dies. 

To finish i stamped my sentiment onto some coordinating cardstock and heat embossed, before adding to my card, and finished with simple die cuts hearts covered with Nuvo Shimmer and dimensional glaze.
