Hero Arts Winter Mittens All Occasions Card



Hi Everyone, Hope you are inside and warm if your in the Midwest - Northeast braving this Polar Vortex. I know I would much like to not leave the house at all this week, but that's wishful thinking!
If you're going out, bundle up!

This is a card I created for the current "Crafters Choice" challenge over at A Blog Named Hero. I've had this stamp set for a long while now and would you believe, have never used it?! It appears to now be discontinued, but that's okay - 



Here's what I did 
1. I used my Darice/Park Lane embossing diffuser as a mask and ink blended a square frame to house
    my stamped images. These embossing diffusers can be purchased at Joann Stores under the Park
    Lane brand, or online under the Darice brand. See my full review on them here 
2. Next, I ran the card stock through my die machine with a cuttlebug embossing folder, using the 
    embossing diffuser to emboss only the un-inked portion of the card stock. 
3. Setting that aside, I stamped and copic colored my images, and die cut them with the coordinating 
    dies or alternatively you could use an electronic cutting machine such as the brother scan n cut.
4. To finish, I stamped my sentiment on some Lavendar cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat 
     embossed my sentiment, before mounting the whole card onto that same cardstock.
