thinking Of you

The challenge over at the lawnscaping blog is to make your own background and my new chit chat stamp pack is what came to mind! My MISTI really came in handy for this one. I'm a bit too much of a perfectionist in that I want thing nice and aligned and straight! So I used some grid paper and my misti to make a plan, and then lined up my stamp onto the "plan" to stamp onto the actual card. That's a horrible description so here's a photo.

I stamped out the plan on 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 grid paper, then lined my stamp back up over the image

Replaced the grid paper with the card and stamped!





I used a healthy combination and Hero Arts shadow inks that I thought went well together, and since this one a one layer card I went with Bazzil Marshmallow 100lb card stock, which I just finally got and love. To finished the card off I cut out and stamped a few of the little hearts that came with this set, and covered them with glossy accents (you can also use the misti to perfectly stamp onto die cuts, there are many tutorials on youtube and her website mysweetpetunia.com).

I'm entering this card into the Lawnscaping: Create a Background challenge, the Simon Says Stamp: Have a Heart challenge, and the Craft Stamper: Anything Goes.
