happy Valentines day

The muse this week over at the Muse Challenge Blog is a great one. Take a look at this awesome card from Marion! I love love love white embossing on a nice solid color cardstock! And the simplicity of this card makes in stunning!

And here is what I came up with

I created an a2 card base from some Recollections Cardstock.
I used my Kelly Craft Get-it-Straight Laser Level and some Micropore tape to mask off an area for the sentiment, and then used the MISTI to position and stamp a Hero Arts background stamp which I embossing, followed by stamping and embossing my sentiment.

I made this card twice because I forgot to use my powder tool!
Never - Forget - The - Powder - Tool
I do it every time.

I will be submitting this card to the Muse Challenge above as well as the Pile it On: Hearts and Flowers, Simon Says Stamp: Have a Heart and the Craft Stamper Magazine: Anything Goes.
