Well, Today I'm combining and playing with a few challenges.
I think this color pallete would be best suited for a kids card, but I went masculine
(because I happen to actually NEED a birthday card at the moment)
So I started with some matching distress markers and went from there.
I usually build my cards bottom up, but this one went backwards!

I colored my birthday cake stamp with my distress markers and stamp my image.
I used my MISTI for a fun new technique, embossing dye ink!
I stamp my image with dye ink, then stamped versamark over top of it, and clear embossed.
Why not just use pigment ink you ask? Because! I didn't have the right color :)
After I finished up my tag, I built the rest of the card around it.
This will be going out to my friend turning 30 next week.
And yes, That is older than dirt in my 29 forever book!
Hope you like!
