a Birthday Shaker card

Let me start of by telling you, this was the worlds most difficult cards to photograph! I was at it for hours, so it goes without saying, this looks much better in person! One of my favorite crafty inspiration artists Jennifer McGuire posted an awesome video for a No Bulk Shaker Card and the idea was simply ingenious! It stops all the fun stuff from sinking to the bottom, but still allows for some shake!

For my card, I cut an a2 card base from some Kraft card stock. I then decided I didn't want a plain craft card so I mounted a piece of this fun Chevron paper from SEI, and the cut out the shaker window with a rectangle die. Because of how crucial a centered and straight window is on this type of card, I used my Kelly Craft Get-It-Straight laser square to line up my die before cutting. I then used my MISTI to line up and center my sentiment - then stamp onto the transparency. I used Brilliance ink which I read did well on transparency (it did, just needed a little heat setting)
