My momma's favorite color & birthstone are both purple
so that's where I went with this Mother's Day card. I wanted something simple
and elegant, but with lots of fun layers & die cuts.
I went ahead and cut my card base, layering pieces, and most of
the die cuts. I went with a standard A2 card 1/4” downstep for layering pieces.
I wanted to mount some sort of
dimensional die cut or embellishment on my 3 squares, and decided on Heartfelt
Creations Posy Patch. If your not familiar, these are stamps & coordinating
dies. After stamping and die cutting 3 of each desired size, I used a petal
roller for dimension.
Put together the little postage
stamp embellishments & begin Assembly
Then it was time to decide on a
sentiment. I changed the sketch around a few times to compensate for sentiment
placement. I ended up going with an embossed title on my go-to die,
labels 14.
Finally, I mounted the card onto its
base & its ready to go!
