Rainbow Butterflies with Hero Arts Monarch Fancy Die

Hi Everyone! I'm here today playing with the Hero Arts Monarch Fancy Die from the 2019 catalog. There are so many great ways to use this die. I decided to cut it out from some rainbow backgrounds I had made while playing with various mediums.

The first one was cut from an alcohol ink panel I had made while testing out different paper and alcohol ink combinations. This was Rangers yupo paper.

The next butterfly was cut from some Bristol smooth card stock that I had scribbled some Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens onto. I went over and blended everything together with a clear wink of stella pen, creating a sparkly rainbow gradient.

My last butterfly was cut out from a bunch of strips of Hero Arts card stock from the sample kit I bought to go through and pick out my must have colors. I cut out a rectangle from a sheet of double sided adhesive. Removed the release paper from one side and laid down small strips of card stock until I had covered the whole panel. Then I ran the whole thing through my die cut machine with the butterfly die. When I was ready to place it on my card panel, I removed the release paper and stuck it down.To finish, I stamped down various sentiments from the Hero Arts Sending Smiles stamp set in Intense Black ink.
