It's the 15th and that means a new challenge over at A Blog Named Hero!
This month it's all about those clean & simple creations. I went with a single layer card.
I started off by creating a simple ink blended sunset background with some Hero Arts inks. I used post it tape to mask off a rectangular area, leaving the bottom third of my card front free for the sentiment. Then I blended Strawberry, Tangerine, and Lemon Yellow ink from hero arts, slowing building up the color and intensity. Once I had the desired look, I peeled off the masking tape and go to stamping.
Since we're keeping it simple, I set up all the stamps at one time in my MISTI and stamped them all with the same Hero Arts Intense Black ink.
I mounted the panel onto some fun foam for dimension, and adhered the whole thing down to an a2 sized card base to complete my card.
Now, Head on over to A Blog Named Hero to see all the other DT projects and challenge info.
