December Challenge a2z Scrapbookin | Hero Arts Winter

Hi Everyone! It's the first of the month which means a new challenge over at the a2z scrapbooking blog. This months theme is winter wonderland!

I used the Snowflake Edge fancy die to create these bright and shiny holiday cards.

Here's what I did:

1. First I used my clarity brushes and some distress oxide ink to create an ombre background in some fun holiday colors on a panel of white cardstock trimmed to 4x5.25
2. Next I used the snowflake edge die to cut out some, well, snowflake edges out of assorted colors of glitter cardstock
3. The glitter edge was too overpowering so I wrapped some holiday washi tape around the bottom of each snowflake edge.
4. I used the Hero Arts Holidays fancy die to cut out my sentiment, which I adhered on with a Matte liquid adhesive and then stamped "Happy" from another stamp set lying on my desk.
5. To finish I added a clear dimensional gloss overtop the "Holidays" die to really make it stand out and then added the panels onto a white a2 sized card base.
