Happy Holidays

Here's another fun card from my Cricut Explore and SVG files! This is my 2nd or 3rd time playing with the explore. Overall I'm impressed, but I was a little disappointed today at its performance with textured card stock. It was having a really hard time cutting my sentiment, and I tried several settings. If you've found anything that works with with cricut & textured card stock, please do let me know.

Anywho, Here's what I did. First I cut out a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of white cardstock and stamped a falling snow background with assorted Hero Arts snowflake stamps. I then used a Spellbinders die to cut a window out ( I lined the die up with my Kelly Craft Get-It-Straight Laser Level to make sure it was centered well), which I then matted on a piece of cardstock cut out of a matching Spellbinders die one size larger. I then headed over to the trusty cricut to cut out this fun cup o cocoa and my sentiment.  I topped it off with some glittery fun on the whipped froth!
