Christmas Card with Cricut

Well, The radio has started playing Holiday music and the stores are all decked out. I guess 'tis the season! I could do without the weather though, 'Polar Vortex' is on its way, Yay!

So I finally decided to bite the bullet and subscribe to the Cricut Image Library. $9.99 a month for a ton of images, pretty good deal. Of course, Then your choices are that much more difficult LOL so I went with the first Christmas Tree image I find for today. Here's what I came up with;

1. Create an A2 Card Base in plain white cardstock. Round corners.
2. Cut a step down layer. I used Spellbinders A2 mat cuts.
3. Cut another step down layer, or in this case I cut a lacey background image from the
    paperlace cricut cartridge.
4. Cut another step down layer.
5. On the final step down layer, cut or place the desired image. I cut the image directly
    onto the layer and mounted on another same size layer of coordinating cardstock.
6. Embellish and Add Sentiment.
