an Amazing Birthday card

I love washi tape. I buy loads of washi tape. But I never actually use washi tape.
It never seems to fit where I want it or work out the way it was intended.
Until Now! I had seen someone make some fun Washi Tape flags previously and 

wanted to give it a try myself! I also just love this stamp from Simon Says Stamp.
I actually combined two stamp sets, that coordinated well, but needed to line them up properly, which is where my KellyCraft Get-It-Straight Laser Square & Multi-Mat™ came in handy!

I used the laser square to mark where I needed to stamp the fun dots border with the main stamp on the card. Then was able to remove it and stamp and stamp the little circles to go underneath.

After stamping the main sentiment I added a few starts here and there also from the fun stamp set! I thought about embellishing further with some glitter or glossy accents, but decided to keep it simple.
