November Challenge a2z Scrapbooking | Hero Arts Give Thanks

Hi Everyone! It's the 1st and that means a new challenge over at a2z scrapbooking. Starting this month I'm actually adding to my DT duties over there and taking over as challenge coordinator. 

First order of business is introducing this months challenge, Give Thanks! And here's my project.



I created this card by doing somw no line water-coloring using Ink on 3 no line ink and the Hero Arts Flower Nasturtium stamp from the a2z scrapbooking store.

I stamped the image in all 4 corners of a card front cut to 4 x 5.25 and used a Daniel Smith dot palette to paint the image in fall colors, alternating the petals as I painted so as to not paint two wet petals next to each other so that it would leave a little to differentiate the petals instead of one big blob.

For my flower centers I glued on some gold sequins, but topped them with some clear glitter nuvo drops, a trick I picked up from Kelly Latevola.

My sentiment is an SVG file from a Hero Arts digital file "Sunshine Flowers", I cut it out 3x on my cricut in heavyweight card stock and layered them together.
