Fall Celebration Card with Lawn Fawn Party Animals

Hello and Happy Wednesday everyone! The leaves are just starting to change here, north of here its already starting to snow {{sniff}}. All though I would gladly brave some early snow if it would take away what hurricane Michael is doing/done down south today. My heart is with everyone having to brave that and I hope the damage is little. 

Today I have a card I made on World Card Making day for the current Lawn Fawntatics challenge which is all about autumn!

I had been wanted to do some emboss resist with fall colors so I decided to mask off most of my card leaving a circle slightly off the page. I did so by cutting a a2 sized piece of masking paper and used a circle die hanging slightly off the page, to cut out the circle. I adhered the mask to a piece of smooth card stock and begin stamping my little images and adding white embossing powder. When I had all the images stamped, I head embossed all at once to minimize warping. 

After everything cooled, I blended some distress inks over top and then wiped the excess off with a paper towel to reveal the embossing underneath, which resists the ink!

To finish I added my little fox which I colored with copics, cut out, and popped up with some foam squares. Stamped my sentiment and heat embossed it onto some coordinating card stock. Finally I trimmed down the card panel and added a piece of craft foam to the back, before adhering to an a2 sized card base in a matching color.
