{a2z scrapbooking} Neon Safari Thanks with Hero Arts

Hi Everyone! I've been pondering ways to use the Hero Arts Safari Thanks stamp set for something other than basic silhouettes, and had this idea for a very bright colorful bunch of animals. Here's what it turned into.  

I started by cutting a mask from some masking paper to create a uniform circle to stamp my images in. After adhering the mask to cardstock, I arranged all my stamps the way I wanted them and picked up using my MISTI stamping tool. I inked them up 2 at a time and stamped down until the circle was full, filling in the white space with smaller images from the set. After removing the masking paper, I cut the panel out with a stitched rectangle die, and printed on a sentiment from the Sugartree Stamps Party Animal digital set. To finish I mounted the panel onto some purple cardstock.

Baby Feet Layout with Echo Park Bundle of Joy

Hi Everyone! Hope your having a great Saturday, I'm popping by the blog today with one more post, an 11th hour entry for the current sketch challenge over at the scraproom

I started with a plain gray piece of 12x12 card stock, I thought that went nicely with the kit I choose for the layout. After pulling a few piece from the kit that went together, I started assembling the main pieces of the layout, before printing and added my photos.

After I added my photos I started on with the embellishments. Added a few chipboards here and there and a journaling piece for my dates.

For my title, I was concerned the patters on the letters in the kid was too busy to go with the papers I've chosen, so I stuck them down to some white card stock, and ran it through my brother scan n cut with a 1mm shadow, which both reinforced the stickers, but also added a nice white border, which helps its pop against the patterned paper.

Hope Your Day is Amazing | Altenew

Happy Saturday to you, Thanks for popping over here!

I made this card for the current Altenew Inspiration challenge

I love that the color combo has black in there, I love pairing black with bright & bold colors, but purple and black wasn't on my radar.

To put this all together I started with some black bazzill cardshoppe paper, and used the Altenew

Watercolor Strips stencil and white embossing paste to create a textured background. 

While that was drying, I used my MISTI to stamp the layered flower and leaves. For the last layer, I used white pigment ink embossed with a sparkly embossing powder for a little interest on the flower. 

For my sentiment, I stamped the main hope greeting onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and cut it out with my brother scan and cut leaving a 1mm shadow, and stamped the remaining sentiment line onto black cardstock, white heat embossed, and fussy cut into a little flag.

After adhered my textured panel only an a2 card base, I popped up all of my images except the leaves with foam squares.
