First Time No Line Coloring with Simon Says Stamp

So I've been loving all the no line coloring going around and wanted to try it, then I got this fun stamp set for my Birthday from Simon Says Stamp and knew it was the one for my inaugural no line.

I used a 2nd generation stamp of Pumice Stone distress ink for my outlive and then colored in
with copic markers. I stamped the sentiment that came with the stamp set and then added some glitter washi and pattern paper before mounting onto a neutral card base.

Hope you Like!

Happy Halloween

Hi All! Ready for Halloween?

I found some awesome Halloween glitter and shaped sequins at Michaels this year and decided to make up a batch of shaker cards to send out to everyone. I wanted to incorporate this fun Witches Feet Hero Arts stamp I got this year which is too cute! I went with a design that was easy{ish} to replicate in multiples and used my Fuse tool to make up a bunch of shaker pockets.

I also made some fun envelopes to go with them, scared the bats outta some of my friends with the peek a boo spiders

Hope you have a great Halloween weekend - Will you be dressing up? I'd love to hear about your costumes in the comments!

CASEing Kelly Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Hey Everyone and Welcome to my stop on the CASEing Kelly Blog Hop.
If you're not familiar with Kelly, she's a craft genius! Possibly one of the best Copic marker aficionados I've seen! Her coloring skills are AMAZING!.

I've had the pleasure of serving on a Design team with Kelly in addition to being a long time follower of her blog You and Your Big Dreams. I'm so thrilled to have been asked to participate in today's festivities to Thank Kelly for her loads of inspiration & wish herthe happiest 1 Year Blogiversary!

Kelly has a regular feature on her blog called CASEing Genius where she takes 3 cards from a fellow crafter and makes one inspired by them. Today -- We're CASEing Kelly!!

Here are 3 of Kelly's cards I'm pulling inspiration from today

I love the beautiful scene created on the owl card using creative masking. The layout/sketch of the Coffee card inspired by design, but I also love the way Kelly uses a white gel pen around sentiments to pop them out from the background. Finally, The pile of presents on the last card inspired me to make my own pile of presents! Here is what I came up with

I started with a Blueprints 20 die cut and stamped on the pile of presents, which I masked off with masking paper before starting with the balloons. I stamped the right set of balloons first, masked them off, then stamped the left set! After removing my masks, I colored in the scene with Copics and topped them with Wink of Stella before stamping my sentiment in black pigment ink and clear embossing. In Kelly's fashion, I outlined my sentiment with a white gel pen!

My favorite Kit is from the KOM, Warmth of Winter

before stamping onto the back panel. I stamped the fox image in Spiced Marmalade (2nd generation stamping) and colored with Copics followed by outlining in a Spiced Marmalade distress marker.
To finish, I stamped my sentiment in versa mark & heat embossed w/ white embossing powder.
To finished, I added some fun Pretty Pink Posh sequins!
