A Watercolor Sunset with My Favorite Things

Hey Friends! I'm catching up on Summer School over at the MFT Stamps blog!
The lesson was repetition and this is what I came up with.

I needed a Thank You card for a friend that moved to (and loves) Florida.
I wanted a beachy water color sunset so I used my prima watercolor pencils to sketch a little beach scene which I generously sprayed with some shimmer spritz water and dried with a heat gun.

After it dried I cut repeating strips with my MFT Stitched Scallops die and layered
then one on top of the other onto another piece of cardstock and then trimmed to a 4x4.

To finished, I cut out a palm tree on my Cricut.
I opted not to put a sentiment, didn't want to distract from the background.

Hope you Like!
