I have to admit, I struggle with water color. I love the look, I just have the hardest time

getting MINE to look like that! That being said I went with a watercolor background!

And I had to get those sequins in so I went with a Shaker Card!

I made my background paper by first stamping and clear embossing a Hero Arts background stamp with Versa Mark and clear embossing powder for a resist effect.

I generously soaked my paper before painted watercolors directly on, blending and adding

color until I got the desired look. Since you can never have enough sparkle I sprayed ~~way too much~~ some shimmer mist on top! For my shaker I used some fun foam sandwiched between transparency paper after cutting my window with Spellbinder Circles.

Finally I stamped my sentiment with Hero arts ombre ink on the inside of the card

Very pretty! I really like the "double sided" shaker window. I've not seen that before. Love the colors you have chosen as well. And you're right, there is no such thing as too much when it comes to shimmer and sparkle!
