A Watercolor Birthday

So, Each year on Mother's Day weekend there is a scrapbook expo here
"Great Lake Mega Meet" so its the annual spend all the money in my bank
account day. This year my big purchase was the whole set of Prima Watercolor pencils.
Still getting the hang of coloring images with them, but I definately love the colors
and how nice and creamy they are!

I create this background simple by coloring some streaks of the pencil
and using a water-filled brush to drag the color down for an ombre effect.
I dried each line individually so as to not mix colors too much.

Once completely dried I stamped my sentiment in versa mark ink before
heat embossing with Ranger Liquid Platnium.
The texture of the water color paper makes for an interesting embossed image.
To finish I ran my versa mark pad around the edges of the card and hear
embossed those as well.

Hope you Like!
