Stencil Fun with Hero Arts

Thank You Card
I've been wanting to try using a stencil as an embossing folder for a while now and this month challenge was the perfect push! I decided to take it a step further and ink with the stencil as intended before running it through my embossing machine.
I first affixed my stencil to some white paper (4x5 1/4) using Micropore tape. Next, I used assorted Hero Arts inks and a mini blending tool to ink up my background. I then ran it through my Grand Calibur using their standard embossing sandwich recommendation. You do need to be careful removing micropore tape after its been run thru a die-cutting machine.
Moving onto my sentiment, I die cut a little tag and used MISTI to stamp my sentiment in some matching ink. I poked a few holes with the crop-a-dile to add ribbon and adhere it around the back.
To finish, I mounted this piece onto some fun foam for dimension and then onto a coordinating color cardstock cut to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 and finally mounted onto a a2 card base.
I hope this provides some fun inspiration for you to join our April Stencil challenge. You have until the end of the month to link up your creations for a chance at a $25 Gift Card!!!
